Aries Constellation Esoteric Symbology

The zodiac sign of Aries (21 March – 20 April) is symbolised by the Ram.

Aries falls around the time of the Spring Equinox, which marks the official beginning of spring in the Northern Hemisphere. This is a time of balance when day and night are equal, symbolizing the awakening of the Earth from its winter slumber. Aries' association with new beginnings and vitality aligns with the themes of growth, renewal, and rebirth celebrated during Ostara.

The brightest star in the constellation of Aries is Hamal (Alpha Arietis), which is an orange giant star located approximately 66.6 light-years away from Earth. Another notable star is Sheratan (Beta Arietis), which marks one of the horns of the ram.

The glyph represents the ram’s horns which show the aggressive nature of the sign.

The constellation of Aries, also known as the Ram, has been intertwined with myths and legends throughout various cultures and civilizations.

In Greek mythology, Aries is linked to the famous tale of Jason and the Argonauts. King Athamas of Boeotia married Nephele, who bore him two children, Phrixus and Helle. When Athamas took another wife, Ino, she plotted to kill Phrixus and Helle to ensure her own children inherited the throne. However, Nephele sent a flying ram with a golden fleece to rescue them. As they flew away, Helle fell into the sea, giving rise to the Hellespont, while Phrixus safely reached Colchis. There, he sacrificed the ram to Zeus and hung its golden fleece on a tree, where it became the object of Jason's quest.

In Babylonian mythology, the constellation of Aries was associated with the story of Marduk, the chief god of Babylon, who created the world by defeating the chaos monster Tiamat. Aries was thought to represent the ram of sacrifice that Marduk used to create humans from the blood of Tiamat's slain body.

In ancient Egyptian mythology, the constellation of Aries was often associated with the god Amon-Ra, a powerful deity associated with the sun and creation. The ram was considered a symbol of strength and leadership, and its appearance in the heavens was believed to bring blessings and prosperity to the kingdom.

Before the dawn of language in Sumer we find a cylinder seal dated c. 3,500 BCE that shows two rams standing on a mound, from which rises a double-headed serpent. Between the rams is a flower and standing on their backs is an eagle. The Serpent seems to be about to bite the Rams, symbolising giving them the wisdom of the Serpent Bloodline. However, the Eagle quickly swoops down and lands on their backs, holding them down and preventing them from rising to illumination, this represents yet another astrological age where the Eagles kept the Serpent wisdom from being known by the people.

Aries is a fiery sign, symbolizing the spark of new beginnings and the impetus for bold action. Ruled by Mars, the warrior planet, Aries is characterized by its assertiveness, courage, and pioneering spirit.

Esoterically, Aries holds profound significance beyond its astrological traits. It represents the primal energy of creation, the pure essence of existence manifesting in its most raw and unbridled form. In the cosmic dance of the zodiac, Aries marks the initiation of the astrological year, heralding the dawn of a new cycle ripe with potential and possibility.

Corresponding to the human body, Aries governs the head—the seat of consciousness and the gateway to the soul's expression in the physical realm. Just as Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, the head serves as the primary point of contact between the individual and the external world, where thoughts are conceived and intentions take shape.

In esoteric teachings, the head is regarded as a sacred vessel, housing the divine spark of consciousness within the confines of mortal flesh. It is through the faculties of the mind—the intellect, intuition, and imagination—that we explore the ramifications of existence and forge our path forward.

Like the ram, the symbol of Aries, the human spirit is imbued with a relentless drive to push beyond boundaries, overcome obstacles, and assert its individuality. Blue Blood Divine Grail Lineages

Do you know your blood type, the essence that courses through your veins, carrying the vitality of your existence? Your blood group holds ancestral secrets, whispering tales of lineage and heritage. Do you possess the elusive O Rh D negative blood, the legendary "blue blood", tracing back to ancient lineages?

Consider the stories that echo through time—legends of the Holy Grail, of Mary Magdalene's journey to the South of France with the progeny of Jesus. Amidst the tales, kernels of truth lie hidden, waiting to be uncovered by those who connect with their Higher Self.

Delve into the chronicles of antiquity, and you'll discover a tribe of enlightened beings, the red-headed gods and goddesses of legend. They dwelled in harmony with nature upon the Earth, creating a paradise known as Eden—a realm untouched by strife or conflict.

Yet, amidst this idyllic existence, other beings, primitive and lacking in intellect, roamed the Earth. In an act of divine intervention, the gods sought to elevate them, blending their own essence with that of the primitives to birth a new race. Thus, modern humans, descendants of this union, emerged—a fusion of divinity and humanity.

Some of the Gods thought these humans were beautiful and decided to breed with them, creating a line of hybrids that had more of the genes of the Gods. This was the beginning of the Eagle Bloodline.

Dissent brewed among the Gods, leading to a catastrophic conclusion—the eradication of the hybrid race. A flood swept across the land, cleansing the Earth of most mixed humans, but a few survived.

Through epochs of time, the Gods watched as humans evolved, offering guidance and wisdom. Yet, jealousy festered among certain Eagle male humans, leading to betrayal and the rise of patriarchal dominance. The ancient teachings of the gods were suppressed, replaced by a singular deity and a narrative of male supremacy.

Amidst this tumultuous era, Jesus and Mary Magdalene emerged as bearers of the royal spiritual bloodline, wielding the knowledge of the gods. They sought to liberate humanity from the shackles of dogma, but their teachings were met with disdain and persecution.

Fleeing to the sanctuary of the South of France, they became revered as spiritual leaders by the locals, safeguarding the ancient truths for generations to come. The stories of Jesus' crucifixion and other tales are but allegories, reflecting the celestial cycles and cosmic truths.

The couple were of the Serpent Bloodline of the Gods, Gods merely meaning those who created modern humans. They went on to have six children.

The legacy of the divine bloodline persisted, weaving its way through history, from Egypt to Morocco, from the Basque region to the British Isles. Descendants of this lineage, the "Picts" or "Painted Ones," bore witness to the ancient wisdom, safeguarding it within their secret rituals and ceremonies.

Today, as the world teeters on the brink of imbalance, the descendants of the Holy Grail awaken from their slumber, recognizing the call to restore harmony and peace. They seek to unite the old tribes, to honour the sacred bonds of kinship, and reclaim the ancient truths that have long been suppressed.

Parthenogenetic Priestesses

For thousands of years, patriarchal religions have told us that men came first and that a woman came from a man. That men are complete and women are animals and second-class citizens. That women are incapable of being Divine or being Priests.

However, before we had patriarchy, we had matriarchy. All the ancient tribes were led by women, women were the first Shamanic spiritual leaders, who taught dream analysis and how to use herbs to cure ailments. They were also completely in tune with nature. Their bodies following the 13 month cycles of the Moon, menstruating during the dark Moon, and at the most fertile in the full Moon.

They taught how to open your mind to amazing experiences using psychotropic drugs, mainly magic mushrooms. This led to mushroom adoration in some tribes, as part of their various nature worship activities.

The Priestesses taught about the different seasons, and the movement of the Sun, Moon and the planets. They could predict when things were going to happen, by closely following these teachings.

These women would produce female clones of themselves using parthenogenesis. Special ceremonies would be carried out to achieve this under the full Moon. The women knew that they were the most fertile during the full Moon and so called it - being impregnated by the Moon Goddess.

Celebrations would happen at certain times of the year, mainly Beltane, as this was supposed to be the most fertile time of the year, not only in nature but in their own bodies, which are part of nature.

The first male was born after a mutation on one strand of the sex chromosomes.

Humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes. 22 of these are equally matched. The exception, pair number 23, the sex chromosomes, are matched in the female (XX) and mismatched in the male (XY). We say mismatched because the Y-chromosome is shorter than its matching X-chromosome. The Y-chromosome has been called the male chromosome and the X-chromosome has been called the female chromosome. These names are not completely accurate descriptions but they have found their way into common usage. Because the Y-chromosome is shorter than the X-chromosome and is found only in males, some genes present on the mismatched X-chromosome are present without any matching alleles. Thus, genetic defects on the Y-chromosome affect only males.

Females have complete and matching DNA strands, however males don't.

Because women have two complete strands, they can become balanced and in tune with nature very easily. When trained their bodies again naturally line up with Luna cycles. They can easily learn how to open all their energy centres (chakras) and become enlightened. Unfortunately, most women have forgotten how to do this, because the teachings have been purposely hidden from us. It is also easier for women of certain ancient genetics to activate this within themselves, as they can easily tune into their genetic memories. Other women will struggle more. A male, however, is missing some of his DNA, and to activate this within himself he needs the help of a Priestess (a woman with fully open chakras). The Priestess is trained in Tantric arts and knows how to pass the energy on to a man under certain conditions and the male has had training in how to receive this energy. Once he has received this energy, this will replenish the shortened strand, as the Kundalini energy goes up his spine and activates his pineal gland. Again, men of certain genetics can do this much easier than others.

After many years of males being born, some of them decided they did not like women having all this power over them. They were unenlightened and didn't want to be enlightened by women, they began to resent women and became brutal and war-like. They raped the Priestesses and stole all their teachings and then destroyed all evidence of it so that women would no longer be able to know the truth about their own bodies and the Divine qualities of them.

Patriarchy was born. The men took the teachings and became the Priests. They suppressed women, as they didn't want them to ever find out the truth about enlightenment, and the mens need to receive it from a woman.

However, some kept the true teachings by passing this information on by word of mouth to their children, and their children also passed it on. These teachings became the underground stream of knowledge. They secretly worshipped the Goddess and gained amazing powers and enlightenment.

If any of these secret Orders were discovered they were destroyed by the Priests. Those who were passing these truths were hunted down and burnt as Witches and heretics.

Some families still display their secret knowledge in symbolism in their family coats of arms. Parthenogenesis is shown in symbol form as fish, mermaids, dragons, salamanders, snakes and lizards.

The Priests made sure no one would dare to worship the Goddess, by demonising everything to do with it. The feminine side was seen as left, so no one was allowed to use their left hand. Even today the Italian word for left is sinistra (sinister).

Lucifer was used as a reference to Goddess worship as it secretly meant Venus - the morning or evening star.

Venus traces a perfect pentacle across the ecliptic sky every eight years. So astonished were the ancients to observe this phenomenon that Venus and her pentacle became symbols of perfection, beauty and the cyclic qualities of sexual love. As a tribute to the magic of Venus, the Greeks used her eight-year cycle to organise their Olympic games.

The pentagram - or pentacle is considered both divine and magical by many cultures because if you draw a pentagram, the lines automatically divide themselves into segments according to the Divine Proportion. The ratios of the line segments in a pentacle all equal PHI making this symbol the ultimate expression of the Divine Proportion. For this reason, the five-pointed star has always been the symbol of beauty and perfection associated with the Goddess and the sacred feminine.

The Sacred Geometry of Nature, again is all about the Goddess, Mother Nature, who created us all.

Satan - also another name for the Goddess, represented as Sirius the Dog Star, that represents Isis.

What about the mention of other Gods?

Gods and prophets throughout the ages have been created to represent whichever age we happen to be in and they are all based on the original Astrotheology teachings of the Goddess.

Each Astrological Age brings with it a new era where major changes happen on the Earth.

Sumer, Mesopotamia era was in Gemini, this is why we have the stories about twins, one good, one bad, who battled to control the Earth.

These Gods and prophets are all allegory for Astrotheology.

The Priests wrote the bible, and myths all based on these. But then told people it is evil to look to the stars for answers, they did this to keep you dumb and unaware, while they used these lies to control everyone.

The Divine Feminine is returning, and we will at last have the truth revealed. At last, we can have equality and harmony, where women no longer have to be suppressed and men no longer need to feel threatened by women, because we will work together to bring balance.

The difference between astrology and horoscopes

Astrology and horoscopes are often misunderstood and conflated, but they represent distinct concepts within the realm of divination and metaphysics.

Astrology is a complex system that explores the correlation between celestial phenomena and human behaviour, personality traits, and life events. It delves into the intricate relationships between the positions and movements of celestial bodies such as planets and stars and their influence on our lives. While astrology encompasses various branches and methodologies, its primary aim is to provide insight into one's character, strengths, weaknesses, and potential life path.

Psychologist Carl Jung acknowledged astrology's potential for illuminating personality traits and psychological dynamics. He viewed astrology not as a deterministic science but as a symbolic language that could offer valuable insights into the unconscious mind and archetypal patterns. Jung recognized the symbolic significance of planetary positions and their resonance with the human psyche, suggesting that astrology could serve as a tool for self-reflection and personal growth.

Contrary to astrology's subtle and multifaceted approach, horoscopes offer simplistic and generalized predictions based solely on one's sun sign—the sign the Sun was in at the time of birth. Horoscopes typically provide broad forecasts about future events, relationships, or personal developments without considering the complexities of an individual's birth chart or the subtleties of planetary transits and aspects. They are often written for mass consumption and entertainment purposes, catering to popular beliefs about astrology rather than offering meaningful insights.

While astrology acknowledges the influence of celestial bodies on human affairs, horoscopes oversimplify and trivialize this relationship. They perpetuate the misconception that one's destiny is predetermined by the position of the stars at birth, disregarding the role of free will and personal agency in shaping one's life. Despite their popularity, horoscopes lack the depth, accuracy, and validity associated with genuine astrological practice.

In summary, astrology and horoscopes represent contrasting approaches to understanding the relationship between celestial phenomena and human experience. While astrology offers a comprehensive framework for exploring personality traits and life dynamics, horoscopes provide little more than amusement and entertainment. Distinguishing between astrology and horoscopes can help us discern between meaningful insights and superficial predictions in our quest for self-awareness and personal development.

Four Powers of the Magus

The "Four Powers of the Magus" is a concept in Western occultism and esoteric traditions, particularly within ceremonial magick that originates from ancient Serpent Bloodline mystery schools. These powers are often associated with the practice of ritual magick and the pursuit of spiritual enlightenment. Each power represents a different aspect of the magickian's abilities and serves as a foundational principle in the practice of magick. The Four Powers of the Magus are:

To Know (or To Will): This power represents the ability of the magickian to focus their will and intent towards a specific goal or outcome. It encompasses the mental discipline and concentration required to harness one's desires and intentions effectively. To know, or to will, involves clarity of purpose, unwavering determination, and the ability to align one's thoughts and emotions with the desired outcome.

To Dare: The power to dare signifies courage and boldness in the face of challenges or obstacles. It involves the willingness to take risks and step outside one's comfort zone in pursuit of spiritual growth and magical mastery. To dare requires confidence in one's abilities, a willingness to confront fears and doubts, and a readiness to embrace the unknown.

To Do (or To Act): This power refers to the practical application of magickal techniques and rituals to manifest one's intentions in the physical world. It involves taking tangible actions towards achieving one's goals and bringing about desired changes. To do, or to act, requires skillful execution of rituals, spells, and other magickal practices, as well as a commitment to consistent effort and perseverance.

To Keep Silent: The power to keep silent emphasizes the importance of discretion, secrecy, and inner reflection in the practice of magick. It involves maintaining confidentiality regarding one's magickal workings and experiences, as well as refraining from unnecessary discussion or boasting. To keep silent allows the magickian to preserve the integrity and potency of their magickal work, while also retaining humility and introspection.

Together, these Four Powers of the Magus form the foundational principles of magickal practice, guiding the aspiring magickian on their journey towards spiritual enlightenment and mastery. By cultivating these powers, practitioners seek to harness the forces of the universe, transform themselves, and manifest their will in accordance with the principles of magick and philosophy.

Exposing Esoteric Symbolism of Masonic Aprons

Masonic aprons are rich with hidden symbolism that even the initiates are not informed about, here I will expose the secret esoteric symbolism and what it really means and why.

Aprons - Well what are they?

An apron is a clothing garment that protects the wearer and stops their normal clothes from getting ruined. For example, a person who is cooking, doing carpentry, working as a blacksmith or doing stonework would all wear aprons. However, these aprons are a full length in size by this I mean they cover from the chest down to about the mid-thigh area of the legs. Whereas a masonic apron is worn from the waist down.

The wearing of an apron has been used in religious ceremonies, for example, the Egyptian and Hebrew priests wore an Abnet which was considered an apron and it was meant to represent Authority.

In the case of the apron in Masonry, it is an item that is used as a mark of favour from the Worshipful Master. The candidate is invested and is told that this is the badge of honour of the degree the mason has just taken part in.

Masonic aprons vary greatly depending on which country you are in and also the aprons of the past were different to more modern ones. Here I am focusing on those found in the blue lodges in the UK.

After being initiated the new apprentice is invested with a white lambskin apron. Where he is told that it is an ancient emblem of purity and innocence. More honourable than the garter and older than the Roman eagle. He should always look after it as it will look after him!

However, when worn over the area related to animal passions, the pure lambskin signifies the regeneration of the procreative forces and their consecration to the service of the Eagles.

As the candidate is passed to the second degree, the lambskin apron is replaced with one that has two sky-blue rosettes on it, the Emulation ritual in use states that it shows the candidate's progress in the science of Freemasonry. In the Emulation Ritual book, there is no extended or traditional explanation of the sudden addition of the two blue rosettes or even the colour apart from these additions "mark the progress you have made in the science."

To mark the candidate's raising to the sublime degree of a Master Mason the apron has changed from a white lambskin apron with 2 rosettes. One with a sky-blue ribbon around the apron with an additional rosette on the triangular flap, there are two vertical ribbons on the apron with seven metal tassels attached to each of the vertical ribbons. The apron is no longer secured to the wearer by a white string and tied. But with a sky-blue ribbon that is clasped together by a metal serpent.

The standard text in the blue book passes over the whole change by saying "to mark the further progress you have made in the Science” Here is the explanation from the ritual book:

I invest you with the distinguishing badge of a Master Mason to mark the further progress you have made in the science. Your white lambskin apron has been replaced by one with a light blue border, having three rosettes arranged in a triangular fashion with the point uppermost. The colour of the silk, the triangle and the three rosettes have special meanings.

The two vertical ribbons typify …. And …. The importance of which has already been explained to you. To each of these ribbons seven tassels are attached to remind us that no Lodge is perfect unless seven Brethren are present, that in olden days the seven ages of man were thought to be influenced by seven then known planets, and no Master Mason was considered efficient unless he had some knowledge of the seven liberal arts and sciences.

The Seven liberal arts and sciences are Grammar, Rhetoric, Logic, Music, Geometry, Arithmetic, and Astronomy.

This is what the Masons are told, however. Here is my own interpretation from my own experience with my wealth of esoteric and Serpent knowledge.

The colour is blue because it represents the feminine and water, and it is the colour Priests wear during the Great Rite.

The 3 rosettes represent the trinity, the Mother, the Father and the Divine child of the new Aeon.

The 7 tassels represent the 7 chakras that the Serpent Kundalini energy moves through on illumination.

The Serpent clasp is of course symbolic of this Serpent energy and wisdom that they desire so much.

Aprons were worn by entered Apprentices at the building of King Solomon's temple. The way the apron is worn is changed with each degree.

7 not only represents the chakras.

The number 7 is a reoccurring theme within the Craft; 3 principal officers and 2 Deacons, Inner Guard and a Tyler. These 7 represent the "seven-fold" constitution of Man's nature. 

The seven are:

1. The Body, or Rupa.

2. Vitality, or Prana-Jiva.

3. Astral Body, or Linga-Sarira.

4. Animal Soul, or Kama-Rupa

5. Human Soul, or Manas.

6. Spiritual Soul, or Buddhi.

7. Spirit, or Atma.

The body, Spiritual Soul and Spirit being part of the teachings of St. Paul for example:

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be

preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:23

The Atma is Spirit, Buddhi is the highest power of intellection, that which discerns and judges, and Manas is Mind. They form the trinity that was allegorised in Christianity as the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Making them a divine triangle or Real Man. However, the true Gnostic trinity is, of course, the mother, the father and the divine child. The Eagles always remove the feminine from their trinity.

The other four are known as the quaternary or lower man and are the materialistic side of Man.

 Passions and desires (Kama-Rupa)

 Life principle (Prana-Jiva)

 Astral body (Linga-Sarira)

 Physical body (Rupa)

Making a square of matter/body the imperfections of man that a Mason must overcome on his journey to enlightenment.

The triangle has been used in Ancient Mystery systems throughout the world to signify or denote the Spirit or that which is not obvious to the eye. An upwards pointing triangle also represents fire, looking at the religion of Hinduism they have Brahma (Creator), Vishnu (preserver) and Shiva (Destroyer). Shiva is represented by a triangle and signifies the flame which rises upwards from a funeral pyre. This flame in essence points to Heaven.

Egypt is famous for its pyramids, which are triangular in shape. These places are said to be tombs for the dead but as I have pointed out before they are actually places where rituals took place for spiritual development and initiation. Even if they are as academia suggests tombs then the burial chamber was said to have a sealed door or Spirit door that allowed the dead Pharaoh to transcend to the next life.

Again, this confirms the idea that the triangle represents the Spirit. In Christianity, a spire is used on the tops of Churches and Cathedrals to show this flame of the spirit in its aspirations to reach for God or to the Heavens.

Spires do not start from the ground but rest on top of rectangular towers, which match the quadrangle shape section of the apron. This part of the apron is meant to represent Matter, the world or Materialism. Something that can be measured and weighed by the senses of man.

Therefore, it is something with form in which case it is an allegory for the body of man like the triangle is an allegory for the spirit of man, as well as a phallic symbol.

The apron if displayed with the flap extended with the uppermost point pointing up then what we have is a representation of the spirit of the candidate outside of his body and not within his body or his consciousness. Yes, the Candidate has gone through a cleansing ceremony of initiation but at this point, the spirit does not know whether the body will continue with the ideals it has purported to do. The spirit is therefore tethered to the body via two cords keeping the spirit and body together and these cords take the place of the Cable Tow.

Reminding you to be cautious and not to rush forward, as you work to bring union between your spirit and body. Why does the spirit need to be tethered to the body, for although the body has said it will give up the want of monies and the lures of the world in the ritual he has passed through, the spirit is not fully convinced that the body will stay the course it has just started!

The apron is made from a lamb as the lamb itself is considered a symbol of innocence as is the colour white, hence its use as the primary colour of wedding dresses, baptism robes etc.

Within the initiation ritual, they are asked if they have about their person any metallic or valuable substance. This again comes back to the idea that no metal substance was on the high priest when he went to the sanctum sanctorum once a year to offer devotion to the Most Divine.

Fellow Craft's Apron

This apron is made from a white lambskin with two sky-blue rosettes on the square, the triangular flap is now pointing down to the centre of the square. This is to signify that the candidate has made further progress in the science of freemasonry and his spirit (here symbolised by the triangle) has descended into his body (the square).

Looking again at Hinduism the downward triangle represents Vishnu the Preserver. It symbolises rain which preserves the fruitful earth. Therefore, the down-pointing triangle in the square means the descent of the divine spirit into matter.

It thus represents the candidate has subdued his passion and material needs and is becoming in tune with his spirit. Although this bond is not fully complete as the apron is still secured to the wearer by the symbolic cable-tow represented by the cords around the waist.

In this degree they learn that plenty is depicted as an ear of corn near a fall of water, this appears on the apron as the two rosettes. As they are the seeds planted in the first degree and are now sprouting as the Candidate understands his spiritual progress. As the sun and rain fertilise the seeds of the corn so through wisdom and guidance the Candidate can now begin to perceive his spirit within his body. The colour of the rosettes represents the colour of the heavens, these flowers on his "body" as emblems of the spirit's celestial origins.

The entered apprentice degree is the foundation degree, preparing the candidate to begin his journey to enlightenment, ergo planting the ideas and principles within him. The Fellowcrafts degree shows the mid-point of his passing from unconscious incompetence to conscious incompetence on the path to enlightenment. The rosettes symbolise this as the soul and body are established in strength.

Note the idea of the two pillars one the priestly pillar Jacin and the kingly pillar Boaz. Establishing this mind house to stand firm forever! Or a Mason's internalised Temple.

Master Mason's Apron

The apron has now been altered again signifying the candidate’s strengthening spiritual centre not only has a third rosette flourished in the centre of the triangle but the three rosettes together make a triangle showing that the spirit of this man is firmly within the body in a balanced union.

The apron now contains metallic substances, even though in previous degrees we had denounced them ensuring none was about their person. But it should be pointed out that silver in ancient times symbolised the soul, as gold referred to the spirit. The cord has been replaced by a sky-blue ribbon held together by a silver serpent which in itself is a symbol that represents Divine Wisdom. The silver tassels are the light that comes from above illuminating his intelligence it is not surprising that there are 7 tassels as white light is made up of seven waveforms of the electromagnetic spectrum. These are attached to sky-blue sashes that are vertical, Heaven's blue and heavenly light shining in the middle of the apron.

The new-made Master Mason has gone through a figurative death and come out of it resurrected as a new being, "the perfected Initiate has mastered his lower nature and has become the Perfect Man." He is no longer ruled by materialistic views or wants but now focuses on the more spiritual plain.

Of course in Masonry this is all just symbolic because they don't actually do the Great Work, they just get together for meetings and have each other's back and help each other's businesses. And these 3 degrees are what most Masons believe that is all there are. They pay their membership fees and enjoy the events and advantages of being part of the group, but most never get invited to the other higher levels, and most will never know that those levels even exist. And it is within those higher degrees that the reality and level of manipulation into world events really unfolds.

More symbolism

The Premier Grand Lodge had ruled in the 18th century that its Grand Lodge officers would wear Royal Blue which was coincidently the ruling Monarch's family colour. Scotland chose green which was the Stuarts’ royal house colour and as this was the period of the Jacobite rebellion it would be have been unpatriotic to have green on the regalia in England at that time. It had been decided that the Grand Stewards Lodge would wear crimson as such Acting Stewards still wear crimson today.

The apron is light blue to distinguish it from the Royal blue that is worn by the Grand Ranks. At one point it had been suggested that the Master of the lodge should wear Orange but that is the Colour of the Dutch Royal House, therefore, the idea was rejected. In North America, some of the Masters wear Purple to differentiate between them and the Master Masons in the lodge.

Installed and Past Masters

Installed Masters and Past Master aprons have a slightly different design as the rosettes are replaced by upside-down T shapes. Now some theories say they are 3 TAUs but this is more of a Royal Arch symbol. But they are not the TAU symbol but The T cross, the symbol of the Male side of the Deity and also to emphasise its phallic meaning.
