Your World Revolves Around You

How often are we told that the world doesn't revolve around us? Meaning that we are not important in the bigger picture and shouldn't be egomaniacs. However your world does revolve around you, and it can be very freeing and empowering, without egotism, to know this. You are the one who decides what you are going to do with your life, more so in the Western world. You are the most important person in your world because you are the one who creates your reality every single day, and you do it all alone. So maybe it is about time you start trusting yourself more? Why live in someone else's world, when you can live in your own? If you are the King or Queen of your own world you don't feel the need to control anyone else's or put trust in anyone else's worldview over your own.

You can practice learning how to trust yourself again simply by using your imagination like you used to when you were a child. Take a day, more if possible, and be completely alone without distractions. Think up a new world in which you live, where everything is as you want it. You are the world leader, what rules are in your world? Take time to think about how your world would be, how your reality would be if it were exactly as you wanted it.

This session will be very telling, it might be a negative experience. You might find yourself wanting more money, more material goods, being the most beautiful. This is a product of other people's worlds affecting yours. Try instead to imagine if we don't need money and looks don't matter, see the bigger picture.

If you find this hard, and too big to tackle, try just imagining the perfect day that would truly make you happy.

Now live it, pretend for just that day that everything you want your world to be, it is. Live it, be it, create it. Just use your imagination and pretend.

After your day is over you will find that you have been living seeing the world through other people's eyes, and not your own. You have been making do with living in someone else's world, and it is less than perfect, isn't it?

Now you know how your world should really be you can start making your world a reality and living it. We are very lucky to have the power to change our own inside world because when we do, the world outside starts to change too.

Egofruits

 I recently came under fire for some new designs I made and uploaded to my Redbubble shop. I am sure there is more than these that have caused offense, but I am talking about these right now:

Childless by choice, awesome by default.

So why would this cause so much offense?

People who don't want children are often accused of being selfish. I have personally never understood this. Yes, it means you don't have to spend your life bringing up children and giving up your own life for their sake, but when most people decide they are not going to have children it usually because they don't want to add to the problems the world is already facing with vast overpopulation and all the horrors that it causes.

What horrors does overpopulation cause you might ask?

More pollution, food shortages because there is less land to use for growing food and keeping animals. Destruction of forests to make way for more food production. Overcrowding causes humans to become depressed, angry, and stressed; which in turn leads to bad health, increased suicides, and an increase in crime, including violent crimes and murder.

What other reasons might someone decide to not have children?

Maybe they feel they are not in a good position to bring up children, maybe they have never met someone they would want to have children with or don't have the funds in place that would be needed to make sure their child has the best of everything. Maybe they have genetic conditions and they don't want to inflict their suffering on to their offspring. 

Sound selfish does it?

So what are the reasons people do decide to have children?

• They decide they love themselves so much that they think their genes deserve to live on.
• They don't care about any genetic defects they have that their children will also suffer from.
• They are worried about what will happen to them when they are old and think that by having children there will be someone to look after them.
• They feel like a failure and hope to get a second chance at their dreams through the life of their child.
• They think it is their right to spread their genes.
• They have been told by their religion that that is what they are supposed to do.
• They made a mistake during the throws of lust and an unwanted pregnancy occurred and they decided to keep it.

From the above you can clearly see a pattern, they all seem to be ego-based and at the very least fear-based.

Which is why I have now coined the term "egofruits" for children. Yes, children are the fruit of their parent's massive egos.

No wonder they attack anyone who doesn't have children, they are trying to hide the truth they so vehemently try to cover up and project their selfish nature on to those who decided against having children.

So you see, when you are childless by choice, you really are awesome by default.

Say no to egofruits.
