The Swastika: A Powerful Sigil of Manipulation

The word swastika comes from the Sanskrit svastika, which means “good fortune” or “well-being." The motif (a hooked cross) was first used in Eurasia, as early as 7000 years ago.

It represents the Sun, a very positive omen that brings good luck, especially the right-turning one, which is spinning towards the future. The Nazis used its positive symbolism to manipulate people with this powerful sigil.

Their brains associating the positive vibes with the words being spoken and preached by the leaders as they were surrounded by this symbol. The people became euphoric and associated it with the movement, rather than the sigil itself and so were easy to mislead.

Sigils and symbols are powerful tools of manipulation.
